Olivia Wilde has filed a motion to dismiss a custody petition put out by her former partner, Jason Sudeikis, and infamously took her onstage at CinemaCon earlier this year.

The "Don't Worry Darling" star and director emerged victorious in a California court when a judge ruled that their two children β€” eight-year-old Otis and five-year-old Daisy.

The 38-year-old actress claimed the 46-year-old "Ted Lasso" star - who wanted kids to call New York home - was speaking up while serving custody documents "in the most aggressive way" in April.

In a filing, Olivia claimed that Jason - with whom she was in a relationship from 2011 to 2020 - intended to "embarrass" and "threate" her by distributing the papers in such a public setting.

Olivia - who is now romantically linked to 28-year-old pop singer Harry Styles - said in court documents: "Jason's actions were clearly meant to threaten me and catch me off guard.

β€œThe fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and thus put our personal struggles on public display is contrary to the best interests of our children.

Since Jason has made it clear that we will not be able to do this for our children outside the court system, I filed a petition for custody in Los Angeles.

At the time, an insider confirmed that the former "SNL" star wanted to file the offer, but didn't intend to do it so dramatically.

He said: "The papers were drawn up to establish jurisdiction over the children of Ms Wilde and Mr Sudeikis.
