Varanasi got the gift of Rudraksh Convention Center gifted to Kashi, handed over projects worth 1475 crores and made everyone their own
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Varanasi by special plane at 10:30. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, Minister Ashutosh Tandon, Radha Mohan Singh MP, Mayor Mridula Jaiswal and newly elected District Panchayat President Poonam Maurya reached the airport and received them. The entire airport complex was converted into a cantonment.
This is the 27th visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Varanasi. After reaching here, projects worth 1475 crores were handed over to the residents of Kashi. In which projects worth Rs 744 crores were inaugurated and foundation stones of projects worth Rs 730.91 crores were laid. Rudraksh Convention Center, a symbol of India-Japan friendship built at a cost of 186 crores, was also inaugurated.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, Minister Ashutosh Tandon, Radha Mohan Singh MP, Mayor Mridula Jaiswal and newly elected District Panchayat President Poonam Maurya reached the airport and received them. During this the entire airport complex turned into a cantonment. PM Modi accepted everyone’s greetings. During this, District Panchayat President Poonam Maurya had bowed down to touch his feet. But the prime minister backed down.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath thanked PM Modi for coming to Varanasi. During this, while addressing the people in BHU, he said that the new Kashi is now touching new dimensions. The CM said that for the last 16 months the whole country and the world is troubled by the corona virus epidemic. The way Corona has been controlled under the leadership of PM Modi, which is being praised everywhere.
