Life Insurance Corporation’s insurance company Life Insurance Corporation ie LIC on Friday surprised its September quarter net profit by rising above Rs 1434 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year and touched the sky to Rs 15952 crore.
All this the insurer recognized as a gain due to the change in its accounting policy.
Adani Pavan also posted a consolidated net profit of 696 crores for the September quarter of 22-23. This together is to achieve higher earnings. There was a net loss of Rs 231 crore a year ago, as against Rs 5.572 crore in the September quarter of 2021-22, up 52% at 8.446 crore.
