Georgian general election Georgians elect Raphael Warnock to the Senate
In the Georgia general election, Warnock was able to defeat Walker by more than 37,000 votes. Warnock was behind by a few percent, which was the reason for his defeat.
The turnout was a complete success, breaking the previous record, with more than 1.8 million voters using the ballot according to Georgia Deputy Secretary of State Sterling. The total number of votes was more than 353000.
Fulton, Gwinnett DeKalb County, among the many Democratic-leaning counties, had the largest numbers of votes cast.
