The T2 terminal of the capital Delhi’s International Airport is going to reopen from Thursday i.e. July 22.
It will be reopened from July 22, two months after it was closed due to the decline in the number of domestic air passengers due to the epidemic in the country.

Currently, flights are operating only at the T3 terminal.

Delhi airport operator Dial said in a statement that traffic departures of around 200 flights will be allowed on T2 every day from Thursday. And by the end of August, the movement of flights will be increased to about 280. Currently, flights are operating only at the T3 terminal of Delhi airport.

Expected to travel around 25,000 passengers

Operations will resume at the T2 terminal with IndiGo’s 2000-2999 series flights and GoAir Airlines will resume operations in full swing, with an initial run of around 25,000 passengers expected. An increase in the number of passengers has been observed after various states have relaxed the travel rules. After that, it has been decided to restore the operation of aircraft on T2.
