About two hundred and fifty kilometer long Etlan Express Highway being built between Mumbai-Delhi comes in Madhya Pradesh. This route will enter Madhya Pradesh from near Bhanpura on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and passing near Ratlam will enter Gujarat border near Anas river.Out of this highway with a length of two hundred and fifty km, the route of about one hundred km has been prepared so far. Ravindra Gupta, the project manager appointed by the National Highway Authority for the 2.5 hundred km highway project of Madhya Pradesh, threw light on the features of the highway in detail.

The distance between Delhi Mumbai will be reduced to 1250 km.:-

The distance between Delhi-Mumbai is currently about fourteen hundred km, but this distance will be reduced by about 150 km to 1250 km from the newly being constructed express highway. The Etalen Express Highway is being built on international standards. It will cost about one lakh crores. According to Project Manager Mr. Gupta, the cost of two hundred and fifty km passing through the border of Madhya Pradesh is about eight thousand crores. has been calculated. The cost of construction of this highway comes to about thirty five crores per km.

Giant highway :-

Hundreds of bridge culverts are being built to make this huge highway. According to the information given by Mr. Gupta, 60 big bridges with a length of more than 60 meters are being built within the border of Madhya Pradesh, while 154 smaller bridges are being prepared. About 511 culverts are being built for uninterrupted movement on the highway. Apart from this, wherever there is a crossing of roads from this highway, big under passes are being made at about 40 such places.Similarly, 112 small underground passes are also being made. 16 over passes are being made for other people to cross the highway. There is a railway crossing in this route with a length of two hundred and fifty km, while a railway crossing is proposed. Railway over bridges are also almost ready at both these places.

There will be all kinds of facilities on the highway:-

In this ambitious project of the Government of India, attention is being paid to provide all kinds of facilities for the people passing through the highway. Passenger facilities are being constructed every fifty km on the highway. Six such passenger facilities are being built in 250 km passing through the border of Madhya Pradesh. All kinds of facilities will be arranged for the passengers at these places. Apart from petrol pumps, three star hotels, shopping complexes, amusement parks for children, etc. are being built at these places. The construction of passenger amenities has also been completed more than fifty percent.

Giant junctions are being built at seven places:-

The place of entry on this highway is also fixed. Since the boundary wall is being built on both sides of the entire highway, hence the entry on this highway will be possible only from the designated places. For this, huge junctions are being built. At these junctions, different routes are being made to climb the highway and get off the highway.A total of 7 such interchanges are being made in the border of Madhya Pradesh. Although interchange is being made near Dhamnod for the people of Ratlam city, but there are total two interchanges in the district. People of Ratlam will also be able to go on this route from beyond Namli.

There will be a special facility for paying toll.:-

There will be no toll booth between Mumbai and Delhi on this highway. But this does not mean that there will be no toll tax. The commuter on the express highway will not have to reduce his speed for toll booths anywhere between Delhi and Mumbai. All the toll booths on the highway will be built on the routes going up and down the highway. When a person is going from Ratlam to the highway with his vehicle, he will be given a slip by the toll booth. After entering the highway, when that vehicle exits the highway for any city like Vadodara, then on exit, it will have to pay the toll from Ratlam to Vadodara.

About five and a half lakh trees will be planted in the two hundred and fifty km route passing through the border of Madhya Pradesh.:-

Environmental concern is being taken in the construction of Etalen Express Highway. At least thousands of trees will be planted in every kilometer of this highway. These trees will be planted in the middle of the road. About five and a half lakh trees will be planted in the 250 km route passing through the border of Madhya Pradesh. It is noteworthy that the width of the four lanes on both the sides will be 19 -19 meters, while the space of 22 meters will be left blank between the two sides. In this way, the total width of the road will be 60 meters. Tree plantation will be done in the vacant space in the middle of the express highway. After these trees become big, the drivers on the highway will not even be able to see the vehicles on the other side.

250km Nine Package:-

The work of constructing a highway of two hundred and fifty km has been divided into nine packages. These nine packages have been assigned to different agencies. Employees of various agencies are working day and night to complete this highway as quickly as possible.

Speed โ€‹โ€‹will be at least 120:-

148N Dehli Mumbai Eight lane express highway

Even though the distance between Delhi-Mumbai on the Ethlen Highway is getting reduced by only 150 km, but due to this, the time taken to cover this distance will be significantly reduced. The maximum speed limit on the roads currently being used is 90 to 100 km/h. However, the minimum speed limit for vehicles plying on the Atlan Express Highway will be kept at 120 kmph.At present the distance from Ratlam to Vadodara is about 283 km and the distance of Kota is 299 km. After the construction of Etalen Express Highway, this distance will not only be reduced, but the minimum speed on it will also be 120 kmph. Accordingly, it will take only two and a half hours to reach Vadodara from Ratlam and only two and a half to three hours to reach Kota.

The work of Etlan Express Highway is being carried out on a war footing.:-

“Ravindra Gupta, the Project Manager” of the Atlane Express Highway being built in Madhya Pradesh, says that the work of the highway passing through the border of Madhya Pradesh is being done on a war footing. About fifty percent of its work has been completed. According to Mr. Gupta, about 100 km of the route has been asphaltised. The work of some bridge culverts is in the final stage. According to “Mr. Gupta,” this route will be made operational for use by next November-December.
