Delhi Mumbai Corridor Ratlam 2 November. The Medical College proved the importance of Ratlam during the Corona period. More than 6 thousand people got treatment in the college hospital and this saved them 1000 to 1200 crores. 750 bedded hospital of medical college will start soon. Efforts are being made to make it a super specialty by developing facilities like dialysis, kidney, cardiac etc. With this Ratlam will become a medical hub in future.


Delhi Mumbai Corridor NH 148N MLA Chetanya Kashyap said this at the journalist Deep Milan ceremony. While wishing the media world a Happy Diwali and New Year, he highlighted the various works of city development in the last 8 years. Shri Kashyap said that due to Congress rule and corona epidemic, development work of Ratlam was affected for more than two years but after vaccination of 100 crore people, now corona is under control and development of the city has gained new momentum. The Kovid Hospital of Medical College gave commendable services during the Corona period.

Giving information about the establishment of PSA Oxygen Plant and other arrangements by Chetanya Kashyap Foundation during the oxygen crisis, Mr. Kashyap said that it is the privilege of his family to participate in these works.
While presenting the thought of overall development of Ratlam, Shri Kashyap highlighted the plan for regularization of sewerage line, drinking water line, daily water distribution, ring road, CT ring road, illegal and undeveloped colonies.

He said that in Ratlam investment area envisioned for industrial development, 500 hectares of land would be developed as logistics hub, while 500 hectares of land would be covered by a textile park.

The construction of film city, university and colony etc. is proposed on the remaining 500 hectares of land under various activities. On completion of these works, Ratlam will again have the distinction of being the major commercial and industrial center of Malwa Nimar.

  • In order to have railway connectivity from the investment area, a plan to lay 5-6 km long railway line is also proposed.
  • Shri Kashyap said that 11 units in Namkeen cluster had been started earlier, 4 have been launched on Monday.
  • 105 units of small and medium industries will be set up on the land of the alcohol plant.
  • For overall development, it is necessary to be free from malnutrition and the city to be slum free, so from November 14, Children’s Day, again malnutrition free Ratlam campaign will be started.
  • For slum-free Ratlam, more than 2500 houses have been built and more than 4 thousand houses have been approved.
  • Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has recently announced to give pattas to the homeless. With this, all the families will definitely get the lease, the dream of a slum-free city will come true.

  • Highlighting the work to be done under the Gold Complex and Jail Re-densification Scheme, Shri Kashyap said that a sports complex would be constructed.
  • Apart from this, multi-level parking will be built in Manak Chowk, which will solve the problem of parking and convenience house in the city.
  • He said that due to Corona, the sports fair could not be organized for two years. It will also be launched in January this year.
  • Responding to media queries, Mr. Kashyap said that the Amrit Sagar pond would soon be renovated under the lake conservation plan. 22 crore has been approved for this.
  • Work is also going on for the construction of Palace Road Fourlane.
  • A large complex has also been envisioned for the saree traders. Which will be implemented after taking the opinion of the businessmen.
  • Will also fulfill the resolution of making Ratlam a division.
