Mumbai India CBI case against an officer for allegedly demanding a bribe of 25 crores to let Aryan Khan go Sameer Wankhede Corruption and Crime.
The case came to light in a case filed by the CBI against Sameer Wankhede, former zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau, for threatening film star Shah Rukh and his family by implicating Shah Rukh Khan’s Aryan in drug abuse. Till Rs 25 crore is not concerned.
After this case, Wankhede came into limelight in 2021 after the arrest of Aryan Khan and others in a drug bust on a Mumbai cruise ship.

The CBI in its investigation has accused the officer of foreign tours and taking many expensive gifts.
It was also found in the investigation that the investigation of the allegations against Wankhede and the then intelligence officer of NCB Ashish Ranjan and his acquired property was not found nor justified according to his declared income. Along with this, it was also found that Wankhede could not tell about the foreign trips properly and also wrongly told the expenses related to foreign trips.
Apart from Wankhede, the names of four others are included. In which senior officers Vishwa Vijay Singh and Ashish Ranjan and KP Gosavi and other associates Sanvil D’Souza were included.
