The Project 8-Lane Delhi-Mumbai Expressway was inspected by Smt. Alka Upadhyay, Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India on Thursday.
Secretary Smt. Upadhyay organized a meeting at the Project Implementation Unit office of the National Highways Authority of India and obtained detailed description of the works of the expressway and package number 21, 22 of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway constructed in Ratlam district and package 23 and 23 under construction in Jhabua district. 24 inspected.

Smt. Upadhyay also inspected the side amenity made for the convenience of passengers in Package 21.

Mrs. Upadhyay pointed out that despite being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the efforts made to bring the project back on track were shelved. Due to financial efforts, the project is in its final stage today.

Ratlam 11 January 2023 Mrs. Alka Upadhyay, Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, will come on 12 January to inspect the Eight Lane Expressway.
As per the schedule, he reached NHAI PIU office near Dhamnod on Ratlam Sailana Road at 9.30 am today.
A meeting was taken at the PIU office at 10:30 am.
Inspected package 22 package 23 near Dhamnod from 11 am
Will inspect the package in 21 village Uplai Tehsil Javra from 12 o’clock in the morning till 1:45 o’clock.
She will leave for Bhopal by 2:30 pm via Nagda Marg.
